Can't Write to SD Card - Solution

If your SD card is showing as read-only, it means you cannot write or modify any files on the card. This can be caused by a following of factors:

  • Physical write protection: Some SD cards have a physical write protection switch. Make sure this switch is in the unlocked position.
  • Software write protection: Some software, such as antivirus programs, can set SD cards to read-only mode. Check your antivirus settings and make sure the SD card is not being blocked.
  • File system corruption: If the SD card's file system is corrupted, it may appear as read-only. You can try to format the SD card to fix this, but be aware that this will erase all data on the card.
  • Hardware damage: If the SD card is physically damaged, it may not be possible to fix it. You may need to replace the card.

Here are some steps you can try to fix the read-only error:

  1. Check the physical write protection switch.
  2. Check your antivirus settings.
  3. Format the SD card.
  4. Try the SD card in another device.
  5. Contact the SD card manufacturer for support.

If you have any important data on the SD card, you should back it up before trying to fix the read-only error.

Formula to Get a Random Name from a List in Google Sheets

Sometimes we need a random name from the list of names to select a winner for giveaway, lucky draw, etc. You can use Google Sheets for this. Use below formula as it is if names are in Column A that is the first column.  =indirect("A"&randbetween(1,counta(A:A))) Remember that RandBetween function changes values when you make any changes in the sheet.
